S Ʌ H Ʌ R (Sahar Homami) is a multidisciplinary artist creating visual content at the intersection of art, technology, philosophy and spirituality. Her new media work is focused on creating immersive multimedia experiences and visual systems generated in real time. With her imagery, she aims to push the boundaries of perception and consciousness to expand our art of seeing.

Born and raised in Tehran, Iran, she discovered calligraphy at a young age and obtained the Mastery level in Persian calligraphy by the age of 18. Then pursued 3 years of engineering in Material Science, moved continents in 2007 and completed a B.F.A in Computation Arts, in her second home in Montreal, Canada. Since 2015 she started exploring the realm of creative coding, generative visuals and live visual programming. As a consequence of this chosen path, she often finds herself researching and exploring, expressing her ideas through a broad range of platforms: live visual programming, video/animation direction, digital installations and analog/digital calligraphy.
